Only 5 minutes from Coffs Harbour Airport and 10 minutes from the centre of Coffs Harbour, is one of the most attractive holiday destinations on the New South Wales North Coast. Boambee Bay Resort is an affordable family resort located along the banks of the serene Boambee Waters, and just a short stroll to the long white sand of Boambee Beach. Accommodation is set amidst luscious tropical gardens. The 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartments accommodate six people and the luxurious 1 bedroom apartments will accommodate four people.

For the nature & water sport enthusiast
Canoeing on the serene Boambee Waters whilst enjoying the local flora and fauna along it's shores, swimming in the warm sandy creek and snorkelling in the clear tidal estuaries make for a pleasant experience. Take an early morning or late afternoon walk along the beautiful, private Boambee Beach or stroll the pedestrian path on Boambee Headland for some delightful Pacific Ocean views and at times migrating whales and frolicking dolphins. A great way to start and end the daylight hours. 

For the surfer, a short walk to the point of Boambee Headland offers some of the most consistently long, powerful right hand breaks when the tide and swell combination make it happen (known as Trapdoors/Trappies by local surfers). Walk a bit further south to Sawtell Beach for some great beach and island breaks and a little further on to South Sawtell Headland finds some often insane fast curly left handers for the agile surfer and nimble body boarder.

For the fisherman, Boambee Creek delivers easy cast sand fishing (particularly Whiting), or for the big caster Boambee Beach offers a variety of catches throughout the year. For those who want maximum reach the rocky point on Boambee Headland has easy access via the paved pedestrian path. For the more challenging float fisherman, the rock dwelling weed eating species abound.

For a variety of outside activities and attractions
To the golfer, an indulgence of three high standard golf clubs within a 10 minute radius of the resort are for your choosing. Within 5 minutes Sawtell Golf Club is at hand, Coffs Harbour Golf Club is within 10 minutes drive and to the west, rated as one of the best in the country is the beautiful Bonville International Golf Resort.

For the sedate pleasure seeker to the high speed adrenalin junkie there is something to satisfy your desires. Travelling by road - take turn for Sawtell Road off Pacific Highway approx 10 km south of Coffs Harbour. Drive 2.1km to roundabout at Hogbin Drive but continue straight ahead another 1km, turn left at the Liberty service station for Barber Close.

From the Coffs Harbour Airport - turn left onto Hogbin Drive. Travel 5.8km then turn left at the Sawtell Road roundabout, continue ahead another 1km, turn left at the Liberty service station for Barber Close.

Coffs Harbour is located on the Pacific Highway approx 550kms north of Sydney and 390kms south of Brisbane. If heading fom Sydney the inland New England Highway (entry from Hunter Valley) provides an alternative route to the Coffs Coast.
